Week 7

Money is getting worse on posting his plays, both from the perspective of picking winners and doing them in a timely, communicative and enlightening format. I was 0-3 in college and 2-3 in the pros. I smell a big weekend for Money and Joe the Plumber.

No, I don’t think the Hawaii game will go over. The points total is a tie breaker for the weekly winner and since you get nothing for the weekly winner, except prideful comments, I mock it.

For the games above, I feel like Clemson will put together a solid for interim coach Swinney with a new run-oriented QB in place. I like Oklahoma to bounce back but I love the KU quarterback to play well and keep things close. UCLA sucks, but they are getting better. I see a big letdown for Stanford who has QB issues and will be running on less adrenalin. Dangerous game for Cal. They should be able to run on Arizona, but Best is hurt and they are doing the QB shuffle with Riley and Longshore again.

Survivor thoughts;
D43 and CCR are one of 13 players left in a high stakes survivor pot luck! This is not a week to get cute. Upsets were last week. Take the easy picks this weekend.

1) Giants are the obvious choice, coming off an embarrassing loss to the browns on Monday night.
2) Redskins would be my second choice knowing they just lost and the Browns had an emotional victory Monday night. Plus, you know what they say, Monday night winner is a sunday loser.
3) Bucs are third, but I don't really trust them. No superstars and the Seattle won't be this bad all year.
Sleeper: Carolina
Avoid: Cowboys (funky smell right now) Pittsburgh, Tennessee , the latter two on the road.

Interesting drama last night in Boston with the RedSox coming back from 7-0 in an elimination game. Everything I hear is pointing to another magical RedSox run. Not a chance. Totally different team. No Manny. Ortiz is hurt and their pitching is awful. The Rays make it to the world series and play the Phillies. I don’t think I have been more dis-interested in a world series in my life.
